Amaco Opalescent Glazes (O Series) Lead Free Cone 05
Although Amaco Opalescent glazes can be used on any clay, they develope their greatest opalscence and most interesting textures when applied over a red earthenware clay, such as Trinity Ceramic Supply's Terra Cotta or Armadillo Clay's Longhorn Red. Best results are achieved with 3 coats of glaze. On textured ware, the glaze flows thin on relief and thick in incised areas, giving added dimension on the surface.
